Say it in video.
Skip the meeting.
Record your screen, your camera and your voice right in the browser — on desktop or your phone — then send the video instead of booking a call. No install, no signup, no waiting room.
Free plan: 25 videos · 5-minute recordings · works in Chrome, Edge & Firefox, on desktop and your phone
Record once, explain it forever
Walk a teammate through a bug, demo a feature, or answer a question with your face and your screen — in one take.
🎥 Screen + camera + mic — your face in the corner, your work on screen.
⏱ Pause & resume — stop mid-sentence, pick up when you're ready.
⬇ Instant download — your video saves as a .webm file on your device.
Why teams record instead of meeting
A five-minute video replaces a thirty-minute call — and the other person watches it when it suits them.
Screen, camera & mic
Show your work and your face at the same time. Your camera sits in the corner while your screen does the talking.
Nothing to install
It runs in your browser using built-in recording. Open the page, click record, pick a window. That's the whole setup.
Private by default
Recordings are made on your device and download to your computer. Nothing is uploaded to a server in this version.
Async by design
Send a video, get a reply when people are ready. No time zones, no calendar Tetris, no "can you hear me?"
Pause & resume
Fluffed a line? Pause, breathe, resume. Your recording stays one clean file.
Free to start
25 videos and 5-minute recordings free, forever. Upgrade only if you record all day.
How it works
Open the recorder
No account. No download. Pick screen only, or screen plus camera.
Record your message
Talk through it once. Pause whenever you need to think.
Download & share
Your video downloads as a .webm file. Send it anywhere — email, chat, docs.
Built for everyday explaining
Bug reports with proof. Product demos. Onboarding walkthroughs. Feedback that reads better watched than written.
Frequently asked questions
Is Vidsay really free?
Yes. The free plan includes 25 videos and recordings up to 5 minutes each, with screen, camera and mic recording in the browser. No account and no install needed.
Where are my recordings stored?
On your own device. Vidsay records in your browser and downloads the video file (.webm) to your computer. There is no cloud storage in this version, so nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Vidsay runs in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge or Firefox) using built-in recording. On desktop you can share your screen; on your phone it records with your camera. Click Record and pick what to share.
How is Vidsay different from Loom?
Loom stores your videos in the cloud and charges for longer recordings and AI features. Vidsay is a lightweight, browser-only alternative: your recordings stay on your device, the recorder is free, and there is no account to create.
What is the 5-minute limit?
Free recordings stop automatically at 5 minutes. Pro ($12/user/month) removes the cap and the watermark, and adds longer recordings — AI summaries and transcripts are marked as coming soon and are not available yet.
